Results of Surgical Treatment of Patients with Advanced Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Depending on the Selection of the Method of Operation

Abstract
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the most common cause of MFB in men. According to the Institute of Urology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the prevalence of BPH in Ukraine in 2013 was 1132.9 per 100 thousand adult male population. Despite the existence of a large number of different methods of treatment of this disease, surgical intervention remains a radical tool.
The objective: to study the effect of the method of surgical treatment of BPH by comparing the pre-operative and postoperative parameters of patients with benign pancreatic hyperplasia.
Materials and methods. The study included 124 patients with BPH. Patients were divided into four groups depending on the different methods of treatment of this disease.
Results. When analyzing the dynamics of the structure of symptoms before and after surgery, it was possible to detect certain differences between groups with different functional outcomes.
Conclusion. In modern conditions, more and more modern and new methods of surgical treatment of BPH have been introduced, which requires a comprehensive and in-depth examination of patients in order to select the most rational and economically viable surgical method in each specific clinical situation.##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.details##
