Abstract

It is known that the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the prostate followed by prolonged use of antibacterial drugs that have spermtoxic and immunosuppressive activity. Therefore, relevance of the search of new opportunities for safe and effective treatment of excretory-toxic infertility is undeniable. The objective: to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the treatment of patients with chronic nonspecific prostatitis, complicated excretorytoxic sterility using Pravenor® Forte. Patients and methods. Clinical and laboratory examination of 72 patients with chronic nonspecific prostatitis in which, according to the semen, showed signs of excretory-toxic infertility. 37 patients of the main group rate admission Pravenor® Forte was held along with the traditional treatment. Results. Patients of the main group recorded a more pronounced clinical effect. In particular, 10 days after the onset of disease symptoms disappeared algic in 31 (83,7%) patients in the main group and 23 (65,8%) the comparison group, dysuria – respectively in 16 (43,2%) and 10 (28,6%), discomfort in the urethra – 14 (37,8%) and 9 (25,7%). Microscopic study of prostate secretions before and after treatment showed a significant decrease in leukocyte reaction in the main group – with 84,3±6,1 to 14,1±1,7, in the comparison group – with 79,7±5,5 to 16,1±4,1. Conclusion. Combined therapy with Pravenor® Forte in patients with chronic nonspecific prostatitis, complicated excretory-toxic sterility, shown to be effective in 94.6% of patients, as evidenced by significant changes of parameters of sperm concentration, motility and maintenance of pathological forms.
