The use of the drug Protex in complex therapy of benign prostatic hyperplasia

Abstract

The effectiveness and safety of drug Protex was assessed in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is established that the use of drugs positively affect both the subjective and objective symptoms of BPH. Protex helps reduce the clinical manifestations of the disease and improves the quality of patient`s life, namely: reduces the severity of bladder outlet obstruction (according to uroflowmetry maximum urine flow rate was increased), decreases residual urine volume. Application of Protecs patients with BPH and also found a moderate reduction in mean prostate volume.
