Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of diagnosis and treatment of chronic prostatitis, accompanied by erectile dysfunction. Modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of such patients are presented, as well as analyzes the differences in the approaches to diagnosis and treatment given in the Guidelines of the European Association of Urology and real clinical practice. It is concluded that it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of clinical manifestations, incl. the precense of erectile dysfunction, in determining the treatment options and the necessity of more differentiated approach to such patients.
