Abstract
Patients and methods. The study was based on the analysis of the results of treatment of 29 patients with metastatic KC. All the patients undergone LAE. Five years have passed since surgery in all the
patients.
Results. Metastases in lymph nodes (LN) have been histologically verified in 15 patients.
Conclusion. LAE in metastatic KC may have medical significance in case of confirmation of metastasis in a single LN as it provides the same survival rates as in the patients without metastatic LN. Metastases in several LN is a factor of infavourable prognosis at KC.
