Abstract

The article highlights the problems in the diagnosis and treatment of M. genitalium, which is today recognized as the true pathogen refers to infections, sexually transmitted diseases and leads to the development of urethritis in men, inflammation in women, especially, cervicitis, with the development of complications such as inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs and infertility. Recent algorithms laboratory diagnostics and treatment regimens are based on published in the June 2015 updated manual CDC «Sexually Transmitted DiseasesTreatment Guidelines, 2015».
