Abstract

Data on treatment of patients with persistent genital arousal disorder and persistent genital arousal syndrome by different methods are presented. Influences and therapeutic effectiveness of pharmacotherapy, including injections with botulinum toxin, physiotherapy (manual therapy, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), psychotherapy (hypnosuggestive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation), diet therapy and surgical interventions are discussed.
